Abstract:

The quality of talent selection plays a crucial role in the inheritance and innovation of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In the context of the new college entrance examination, the quality of talent selection for Traditional Chinese Medicine major in universities is relatively stable and showing an upward trend. However, compared to pharmaceutical majors, there are still issues such as weak enthusiasm for candidates to apply for Traditional Chinese Medicine, and relatively lower admission rankings. Influencing factors include industry development, regional differences, construction and publicity of specialty, etc. Universities should continue to optimize and strengthen the publicity of Traditional Chinese Medicine major, fully focus on the characteristics of it, comprehensively optimize the training path for talents, and strive to improve the quality of Traditional Chinese Medicine major under the background of the new college entrance examination.
