Abstract:

College counselors are the main body of college students' ideological and political education, who undertake the extremely significant task of the times and history. The core competence of college counselors is the power and guarantee to accomplish the task. These are serious and thought-provoking topics for the ideological and political workers in colleges and universities: how to understand the value of the research on the core competence of college counselors, how to dig into the connotation of the core competence in the new era, and how to establish the cultivation system of it. Based on the working experience of college counselors and theoretical research, we put forward some views on the core competence of college counselors in this paper in order to make contributions to the theoretical research as well as team building of college ideological and political education.
